Job Description

At GalaxEye, we are developing Aerospace based system containing Radars and Cameras. The ‘Aerospace Project Manager’ job requires you to lead efforts on ensuring the development of Aerospace grade Imaging Products. It involves working on system engineering over the interesting intersection of Hardware, Software, and Product Engineering. The job role also requires you to enable the team with the correct knowledge and interact with the customer/user for ensuring a correct product development.

Roles and Responsibilities

Planning and organizing aerospace projects specific to radars
Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
Assessing project and resource requirements
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and budget.
Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Determining quality control standards
Anticipate and identify customer needs and meet and exceed them by relationship building and taking responsibility for resolving customer problems.
Demonstrate exceptional product knowledge and communicate this appropriately with customers
Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
Be a Subject Matter Champion, supporting colleagues with knowledge, skills and expertise to improve business performance and profit.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualification:

B.Tech / B.E in Engineering or equivalent and preferred Masters in Management

Skills/Requirements:

Experience of more than 3 years in project management
Strong understanding of Military based systems, Radars, Cameras, Electronics and Drones/UAVs
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
Should have good knowledge of project management tools.
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
A methodical and organized approach to problem solving
