    Roles and Responsibilities

      • Preparing Monthly financial statements and getting limited review done. Coordination with internal team for queries resolution, arranging required documents for auditors (audit SPOC). Tracking of quarterly review progress and ensuring timely conclusion of Limited Review 
      • Preparing & consolidating annual financial statements with notes and getting audit done. Coordination with auditors and internal team for timely completion 
      • Coordination with subsidiaries/ associate companies and other group components for timely availability of financials, reviewing their numbers to ensure accuracy of information in terms of group accounting policies. Ensuring correct elimination entries and consolidation adjustments. 
      • Input to internal team on accounting matters and ensuring new transactions are correctly accounted for as per applicable Indian Accounting Standards 
      • Basic analysis of financial numbers when preparing and preparing reasonability sheets explaining variation in numbers v/s previous periods (as applicable) 
      • Preparing monthly summary financial statements in statutory format for managements review 
      • Tracking of GL balances and questioning abnormal movements or balances to the team 
      • Coordination with auditors and internal teams for interim audit, control testing etc. 
      • Contributes to the identification and reporting of risks, patterns or recurring issues 
      • Contributes to the completion of journal entries 
      • May complete special project activities, as assigned 
      • Providing reports to Group entity in required template for Group consolidation  
      • Work on posting journal entries, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, investigating, and reporting open items, reviewing entries and reconciliations, supporting month-end closing, preparing various reports as required

    Desired Candidate Profile

      • Experience in statutory reporting, Deep understanding of Accounting Standards (IFRS & IND AS), Schedule III and CARO 
      • Experience in Consolidation of Entities. Excellent understanding of consolidation adjustments and related accounting standards (including foreign entities and consolidation of associates) 
      • Detailed understanding of P&L and Variance Analysis 
      • Handling Statutory and Internal Audits 
      • Experience in working on SAP is required 
      • Flexible approach and able to prioritise own work 
      • Approachable and professional with a can-do attitude. Self-motivated. Excellent inter-personal skills 
      • Good communication skills. Good coordination skills within and outside department.
