    Job Description

    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Business Development Manager / Senior Technical Sales Specialist to lead our business growth and expansion efforts in a rapidly growing R&D and motor and controller manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving sales, identifying new business opportunities, and nurturing client relationships while staying abreast of market trends and competitor strategies. This position requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of the R&D and manufacturing landscape in the motor and controller industry.

    Roles and Responsibilities

      • Develop and execute comprehensive business development and sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets and expand market share in the R&D and motor and controller manufacturing industry.
      • Lead strategic customer pilots and sales plans, collaborating with the R&D and product development teams to align offerings with customer needs and market trends.
      • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning, including competitor product offerings, technology landscape, and pricing strategies.
      • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach, relationship building, and strategic partnerships with key clients, including OEMs, suppliers, distributors, and industry influencers.
      • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, providing guidance, support, and coaching to drive sales performance and exceed sales objectives.
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate customer requirements into technical specifications and product enhancements that drive sales growth.
      • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and technical demonstrations to showcase the value proposition of our products and services.
      • Manage the entire sales process from prospecting and lead generation to contract negotiation and deal closure, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
      • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, market feedback, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making and refine sales strategies.
      • Stay informed about industry developments, competitor activities, and market trends to proactively identify opportunities and threats.
      • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and network with potential clients.

    Desired Candidate Profile

      • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. MBA preferred.
      • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in technical sales or business development roles, preferably in the automotive or EV industry or motor and controller manufacturing industry.
      • Strong technical background with expertise in motor engineering, motor and controller technology, preferably in axial flux PMSM technology.
      • Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth, exceeding sales targets, and managing sales teams.
      • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers at all levels.
      • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex market dynamics, identify opportunities, and develop actionable insights.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
      • Willingness to travel extensively to meet with clients, attend industry events, and visit manufacturing facilities as needed.
      • Fluency in English and proficiency in Hindi or other regional languages preferred.
